Title: Amazon Fire HD 10 (2019): A bargain tablet with record battery life
Post by: Redaktion on December 06, 2019, 19:07:36
Amazon claims that the Fire HD 10 (2019) should last up to 12 hours between charges, but our tests demonstrated otherwise. Positively, our review unit outperformed Amazon's claims, while it impressed in other areas too. However, the Fire HD 10 (2019) is not all rosy though, as our tests demonstrated.

this is not a tablet as much as it is an extended advertising device for a bunch of amazon junk

speaking of which, Im sick of these type paid advertisements for the Amazon Fire HD 10 that is incredibly slow and bloated. Not to mention that the app selection is terrible - even with play side loaded many apps are not compatible with the device.

I bought a lenova tab 10 for 100 bux that that is night and day compared to the fire hd 10 in every aspect

and yes I did buy a fire hd 10 and promptly returned it

Different strokes for different folks.  I agree that there are better tablets out there than the Fire HD 10.  But, I have a 7th generation tablet and have been very happy with it.  I put the Play Store on it and nearly all my apps have played nice with it.  Watching videos, internet browsing, and running a couple of reference apps works just fine.  The screen is bright and the colors are vivid.  I use it every day for an hour or two.

I wish it would do split screen and the screen does have glare issues in certain lighting conditions, but for a $100, it is a fantastic deal. (I did pay $15 to get rid of lockscreen ads)  I have an Apple mini-pad but I nearly always opt to use the Fire HD for screen size.  I have just purchased a new one for my wife who also has a mini-pad.  If she doesn't like it, I will be more than happy to take it for myself.

So I guess it just depends on what you are planning on using the device for as to whether it is a piece of junk or one of the best bargains online.

Don't know where they get that the battery lasts longer than the hd8.  Mine doesn't really last any longer than my older hd8.  😡
