Title: The XPS 13 9300 display can be 20 percent brighter than what Dell is letting on, but you'll need a few clicks to enable it

Dell advertises a maximum brightness of 500 nits across all current XPS 13 9300 SKUs regardless of display resolution. Our own tests, however, show a maximum brightness of about 600 nits when under certain conditions. Here's how to enable that "extra" brightness.

Is 4k panel worth it?

No, it's not.  Nice display, but I'm getting around 7 hours of battery life and the panel size makes the lower-res version detailed enough.

If you can, wait for the lower-res version with 16GB RAM and more storage.  I only bought the 4K for the RAM, and I wish I hadn't.

I would like to see a review about the 4k screen. Is that coming the next time?

I agree. I really want to know the actual brightness for the 4K screen.
