Nachdem Microsoft die Übernahme von Activision Blizzard angekündigt hat erweitert Sony die PlayStation Studios um Bungie, die Entwickler von Halo und Destiny 2. Der Milliardendeal soll die kreative Ausrichtung des Entwickler-Studios nicht verändern.
