Title: AMD has smashed Intel in Germany last month
Post by: Redaktion on December 02, 2018, 09:27:15
AMD might not be doing that great on the stock market, but the data provided by Germany's largest e-tailer shows that this brand is actually doing great. In November, Mindfactory has sold two AMD processors for each Intel processor. The best seller was the Ryzen 5 2600, followed by the 2700X and the 2600X.

Actually AMD is doing great in the stock market. It is up 200% from April 2018 and 1000% from 2016. The fall in the last two months was a readjustment of the crypto-minimg market. I entered in the game only in early 2018 but earned quite a lot of money thanks to AMD stock. On the tech side I have been waiting for months for a good AMD-powered laptop, unfortunately the only reasonable candidates in professional lines so far are the A485 with its awful screens and the HP business lines with their silly keyboard layouts. It's almost as if Intel was bribing the big brands to kill AMD laptops.

Thank you for the long-term insight on the stock market. AMD always had at least some kind of decent mobile CPU, but the laptops carrying them were sub-mediocre. On the other hand, if you are lucky... I still have a Turion RM-75-powered Asus K70AB in full working condition. Almost a decade old, runs Windows 10 like a charm (but I run Linux Mint on it for various reasons).
