The Asus BR1100FKA costs less than 400 Euros (~$476) and is equipped with simple hardware. However, this is accompanied by a robust and splashproof case as well as by an unexpected expansion option. Our review shows what the Asus convertible has to offer in the end.

what a potato
I need a small sturdy computer for field work that can handle some water, dirt and bumps. It has to run AutoCad Civil3D and Arcgis but it doesn't need to be perfectly smooth. I just have to do simple drawings and visualize the data I collect (I have another PC for more complex tasks but I don't want to risk it).
I used to have a Compaq CQ40 from 2007 I installed an SSD on and it was more than enough, as a reference for what I'm looking for.
Is this a good choice? I found it on sale at a very good price.
