MediaTek is expected to launch a new flagship 5G-ready SoC by February 2021. A new leak suggests that the chipset's Cortex-A78 core is clocked at 3.2GHz, which is significantly higher than that of the similarly-specced Exynos 1080.

It's not a flagship soc, its the successor of dimensity 820. The flagship soc will be 5nm and more powerful

Cant arm improve the a55? You know better energy efficiency and better ipc. So that you can possibly have a better core to use as casual usage
