Mit Open-Source-Daten zu fast 60 Millionen Orten rund um den Globus stellt sich die Overture Maps Foundation dem Monopol von Google Maps entgegen. Der Maps-Datensatz wird von Amazon, Microsoft, Meta und TomTom gemeinsam entwickelt, und ist ab sofort verfügbar.
