A Nintendo Switch on Apple hardware would be a dream come true. Something like a A14 or even A14 with an 8GB RAM package would be extremely power efficient and offer excellent performance and features. It's a shame these companies are not interested in working out a deal.
If the Switch were to use Jetson Orin NX 16GB that might make life easier for developers
Specifically the 8 core CPU (8-core Arm® Cortex®-A78AE v8.2 64-bit CPU 2MB L2 + 4MB L3)
vs The 6 Core of the Nano.
The PS4 / Xbox One both used 8 core CPUs as do PS5 / Xbox Series.

More like a Frankenstein if you ask me

Orin is the Tegra T234, with PTX shader compile package SM_87.
This is the Tegra T239, with PTX shader compile package SM_88 (Lovelace is 89)
These architectures are a completely different render config, with Orin having a GPC with 8 SM's, typically using two GPC's for 16 SM while T239 has 1 GPC with 12 SM's for 1,536 CUDA cores. An impossible render config for Orin without some really weird binning.
The CPU is known to have 8 cores on a single cluster, which means it's the Arm Cortex A78C.
It may be on the 5lpp process, but this leaker isn't really very reliable for this particular domain of sourcing. They recently stated the Orin drive was nearing completion when it's been on the market for a year.
