Apple and Samsung will soon push out OTA updates to enable 5G reception for respective devices in India. Indian telcos Airtel and Jio have started 5G trials in select telecom circles in the country with wider coverage expected in the coming months. Samsung is expected to rollout 5G compatibility updates in mid-November while Apple users will have to wait till December 2022.
