Mini-LED backlighting is the next big thing in consumer TV sets and MSI will be the first to integrate the technology onto laptops with the upcoming 17.3-inch Creator 17 designed for professional users.

Sounds like 4-9 pixels should share 1 diode then, instead of this, still with a lot of blooming.

Mini LED is almost a requirement for true HDR. I hope the warranty is long for laptops with such displays though.
