Weibo leaker Digital Chat Station says that MediaTek has two new SoCs in store for us, the Dimensity 8000 and Dimensity 8100. The latter is essentially an overclocked version of the former and will be unveiled sometime next month in China.

I dont get it - Mediatek has been bragging about Dimensity 9000, and there is nothing out there with it...and now they are talking about an overclocked 8000...
