We might soon see Intel's 35W 'Coffee Lake-S' hit production in Q1 2018 alongside quad-core and dual-core 'Gemini Lake' entry level CPUs. Interestingly, Q4 2018 will see the launch of HEDT 'Cascade Lake-X', the successor to 'Skylake-X'.

All I want to know is when the supposed 40lane pcie Coffee lake S is going to be released. It would be nice to get good gaming performance, not to pay a fortune for a LGA 2066 processor, have lower cooling and power demands and finally have more than 16 pcie lanes so I can have more than one card in my system without cutting performance.
