Apple's WWDC 2021 keynote has introduced the next big things in iPadOS. They include new cross-platform features such as the upgraded Maps, FaceTime and Messages app. However, others, such as fresh split-screen capabilities, better-fitting widgets and the new Shelf, are more tablet-specific.

An word on release date for iPadOS15? I know MacOS is coming in the fall with dev builds then beta... but don't know if iPadOS follows that model or if its going to drop for general availability?
