After going on an Android tablet hiatus since 2015's Pixel C, Google appears keen to return to the tablet space, at least according to a recent job listing for the Senior Engineering Manager role. The listing is for Google's Android Tablets division and goes on to state that "tablets are the future of computing."

Watch em release a new tablet with 128GB storage and no expansion option. They did it with the Pixel C. Was an awesome tablet with an amazing keyboard, but 64GB storage and no expansion options...
I would love a Google android tablet that could also boot chromeOS and possibly even Linux distros. I don't want another vendorOS locked tablet that can't run alternative operating systems. Users want more choices, not less, and a tablet like that, reasonably priced, would be refreshing.
No more Android Tablets!!
Leave Android 12L for foldables!
Focus on ChromeOS tablets!!
