The blog CoreTeks claims to have sifted the release notes for AMD's latest firmware patches for some nuggets of potential gold on this company's upcoming high-performance GPUs and APUs. They include at least 1 Rembrandt variant, as well as the successor to the MI100 Instinct. They are thought to be based on the Zen3 and RDNA 3 IPs respectively.

Why would a 2022 Instinct GPU be RDNA3 and not some variant of CDNA? That makes no sense at all. The CDNA-based MI100 is already out, so it's not like they're struggling to make the architecture work or something. RDNA is (on purpose!) a poor fit for compute, just like CDNA is a poor fit for gaming.
