Be prepared for lots of Core i7-10750H and Ryzen 9 4800HS comparisons soon. The MSI GP75, GE75, GS75 and more with Intel 10th gen H-series CPUs are available for pre-order with the same ship date as the competing AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS.

No reviews of any of these laptops yet? Intel hoping people will buy them before reviewers reveal the 5GHZ is a pipe dream?

🤔 it seems MSI didn't listen when nvidia said RTX 2060 is the new GTX 1660Ti. MSI priced there laptops same as when RTX was first introduced. Overpriced laptops better look for laptops from other brands.

Yes, of course, these Skylake14nm++++ are outdated. Indeed, boosting higher clock and changing names doesn't make them become newer.

The overall package matters. 6 cores are more than enough and 14++...nm have sufficient performance. In gaming laptop context any Intel 6 core CPU coupled with good GPU and decent screen... etc can be pretty competetive against any Ryzen 8 core monsters.

understandable. but they are the same, thanks to amd marketing. ryzen 9 is a better binned ryzen 7.
i am mad at this situation because my goal is 17-incher with the fastest cpu, memory and ssd on the market. plus repaste. (buying memory and ssd separately ofc)
so, with this ryzen 7-9 nonsense i should spend extra 100-150usd for a tiny performance uplift or save the money and it will damage my feelings about own the best :)

For me, I'm happy to pay 100US more for the better bin guarantee than save 100 but couldn't  know I've won the lotto or not.
