A recent tweet by The Last of Us Part II co-director Kurt Margenau sparked a Twitter firestorm with a succinct tweet, asking simply, "What's a loading screen?" Speculation is running wild that this implies an upcoming PlayStation 5 title from Naughty Dog, possibly a port of The Last of Us Part II, could have no loading times.

A lot of people are looking for different things to looks forwards too with the next console generation. I would be in the boat of faster, near instant loading times with super-fast SSDs, NVMe, PCIe, or whatever they are using. That's what excites me the most! Loading a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 in like 15 seconds from the console's dashboard instead of 4 minutes. So exciting!
