TB3 is optional but most retailers sell the ones with it.

Temperature and clock rate problems seems only justified for this re seller,
clevos known for bad factory paste, and most of good re sellers do repaste.
Another guess testers not used fn+1 to maximize fans.
So as owner of one of those, i never experienced any overheating problems.
Using intel xtu there is very straight line for freq.
Max temps i got 86 for cpu in stress mode, without undervolting.
And 83 with undervolting, by -0.100v. (prime + fur)
In games like witcher3, overwatch, gw2 it goes around 70-76 after few hours of use in them.

Hi,

does someone have a comparison with the GTX 1070 model? Especially the battery life and the temperatures would be interesting for me.
Can the GTX 1060 be disabled completely with Nvidia Optimus so that the GTX 1070 won't consume more power when it is not needed?

Greetings
