Title: AMD Ryzen 5000 processors can now reach 5.0 GHz with CTR 2.1 update
Post by: Redaktion on February 16, 2021, 14:04:32
AMD Ryzen 5000 desktop processors can now boost to 5 GHz and even higher, thanks to the CTR 2.1 update. Overclocking Zen 3 Vermeer processors to these frequencies should be simple with CTR 2.1, which is available to download now.

Come on, don't destroy Rocket Lake before arrival! The last fortress was 5GHz, and now it's broken. IPC is better, clocks are same, security is better, multicore is better, what's left for Intel?

Tried it with my 5800x it set all core to 4.65 with 1.35 vcore (perfectly fine) but I was already running all core 4.6 with 1.28 vcore so the extra heat/fan noise wasn't worth it for me

Hmmm, my 5900x already hits 5-5.15ghz on 8/12 cores without the click tuner.... I thought this was normal with auto-oc?
