Planning on buying an Asus ROG Strix G17 g713? You might want to pay attention to the fine print because some SKUs are actually thicker and heavier than others.

Does anyone know when the G713QY (which is missing from the article) be available for purchase? It's only the G513QY which hit the store shelves but no statement was made by ASUS that the two release dates would differ.

reading this post makes me remember the UX305 which also had different SKUs.
