Successful follow-up. A bright IPS screen in Full HD resolution, over 7 hours of battery life and a noiseless device for starting at below 400 Euros is here for the taking. However, Toshiba's new lineup totters in terms of stability and configuration options.

Does anyone know how to "highlight" on this chromebook 2?  Can you highlight?

yeah, you can highlight. Usually use an external mouse so it is easier than using trackpad
