Expected to drop before WWDC 2020, the next smaller MacBook Pro has been said to be making the switch to 14-inch displays. Apple's new Magic Keyboard also seems a likely upgrade, and now 3DMark has confirmed that Apple will offer up to 32 GB of RAM and a 4 TB SSD. The MacBook Pro 2020 will have a powerful CPU option too, but not one of those Ryzen 4000 Renoir processors.

You and some crazy dudes on Reddit have an obsession with Renoir.
Apple MacBook is part of a long term contract between Intel and Apple. There is absolutely no chance apple will void it to build a new laptop with an AMD cpu just because it bring better performance.
nice opportunity for the competitors.

show me this contract, i wanna see some dates. also i heard about apple cpus in their future books, how about contract? or, if they would swap amd vega with the better nvidia cards, what about long term contract?
yes, "crazy dudes" exists, because the market refuses to sell a better products to them, saying f*** you, we have contracts.
Its not surprising we wont see Ryzen Macbooks this year. Why would Apple do that? Putting 4800u inside MBP13 would kill bigger and more expensive model. Additional reason is also that designing laptop is long process, especially with Apple as they look for every detail.

yeah, like cooling in the last air. slow and noisy at the same time.
I thought that tb3 was not compatible with Ryzen? That kill their entire MacBook design
Bring on Ryzen (BOR). BOR or GTFO.
