Lenovo had only used U series CPU's in their ultralights in the past and for some reason the tests are being done with the much more power hungry P series of Alder Lake CPUs. Battery life against a U series CPU (which is better suited to an ultralight) will be similar if not better.

Intel 11th gen have always being configurable to 28W (e.g. 1135G7, 1165G7)

On the 11th gen they allowed the same chip to be configurable as UP3 or UP4 to power lévels of 15W or 28W

On 12th gen the P series is meant to replace the 28W 1165G7, competing to AMD 6800U series.

It features for the first time comparable multi core performance (Intel absolutely prioritized performance benchmarks), at expense of a brutal peak power consumption.

For the 12th gen the 15W configurable part was again renamed U series, but is a different product category

While AMD has a sole product that can offer both power efficiency and performance
