More Wh in the battery? Cool - it was needed!

For those that are inexperienced in how the market generally plays out, here's a few reminders and hints.

Back in the day, "Palm" made a killing and invented the 'Personal Data Assistant' market. Many/most of their devices were <$200 until Microsoft and a army of OEM's jumped into the market. Soon HP and others were trying to sell >$1000 "PDA's".

Then the "smart phone" was invented and rendered the PDA obsolete.

Least anyone forget that the ACTUAL COST of "Smart Phones" from the major OEM's push >$1000+ price tags these days.

While I'd agree that the "sweet spot" for handheld gaming is <=$300-400 and few (if ANY) of the current "handheld gaming PC" OEM's can really reach that price point what we are left with is ~$1000 'handhelds' with VERY limited market. (after all for a killobuck you can get a MUCH BETTER performing last generation Laptop!!!)

So as Nintendo and Steam Deck have shown that there IS a market for handheld gaming devices, we get to watch the major OEM's try and FAIL at making money in this market. :)

Ich würde echt gerne an der Crowdfunding Aktion teilnehmen, aber gewisse Alarmglocken schlagen einfach an:
- Erste CF-Aktion des Anbieters
- Anbieter hat noch nicht einmal eine Webseite
- 60% Rabatt? Rly? Dürften sie beim Regulären Preis entweder eine Riesen Marge haben oder aktuell mit Verlust verkaufen.
- CF-Seite zeigt an das nu noch wenig Bestand vorhanden ist. Aktualisiert die Seite nach einigen Minuten nochmal, dann ist plötzlich wieder mehr verfügbar.

Das ist ja erstmal nur eine Crowdfunding Kampagne. Man kann nicht bestellen, sondern nur auf der Crowdfunding Seite (indiegogo) Geld zur Unterstützung einzahlen und hoffen, dass das Ding auch tatsächlich geliefert wird.
Man hat aber keinen Rechtsanspruch auf irgendetwas wenn man das Geld bezahlt.

Ist halt ein Risiko. Das Ziel der Kampagne wurde aber bereits erreicht, sodass eine Lieferung wahrscheinlich ist, es sei denn das Ganze ist eine Betrugsmasche...

2,5 Slots, 30,4x15,1cm... Interessant, was heutzutage so alles als ,,kompakt" durchgeht. Das ist ja wie bei Smartphones und Autos.

20% unter UVP und 7% unter dem Vergleichspreis sind für Apple-Verhältnisse ein guter Deal, und erst recht wenn das Angebot von einem zuverlässigen Händler kommt.

Ach, und jetzt schon für das Pixel 10 werben. Die Zielgruppe hat Interesse, das darf man respektieren.
Nach den ganzen Jahren erscheint ein fortschreitender Handy-Hype sehr grotesk.
Pixel 20 mit noch besserer Kamera und Tensor 98 Chip? Und das IPhone hat dann 20x mehr Leistung.
Bemerkenswert, dass es diesen Markt noch gibt. Wir sind scheinbar dumm genug.
