Title: California's Net Neutrality bill is soon to become law
Post by: Redaktion on September 03, 2018, 00:57:24
After a highly public campaign to pass the bill SB822, which will serve as a replacement for the FCC's Net Neutrality rules, the legislative branch of California has approved the bill. Assuming the Democratic Governor Jerry Brown signs the SB822, California will be yet another state that has its own Net Neutrality laws.

@colt-lemon-pluck - You are trying too hard, It is also a symbol of victory, but in this case it is actually just a fist holding up an Ethernet cable...

@LL - There is nothing hyperpoliticizing about it (89% of the population supported net neutrality on all sides prior to the cable companies writing out some large checks to politicians and suddenly it is a "political issue"), but it is major news that impacts the future of the internet around the world. (Because US sets a lot of precedent globally)

@colt-lemon-pluck What's the problem with socialism? It works just fine in a lot of European countries.

Don't confuse Social Democracy and neomercantilism with socialism. Socialism is sad and stupid.
BTW people should stop pointing  to white majority countries as role models. that sounds like white supremacy and that's just racist
