Title: League of Legends (LoL) - Laptop and Desktop Benchmarks
Post by: Redaktion on July 05, 2019, 00:25:17
The free-to-play MOBA, which saw the light of day almost 10 years ago and broke the 100-million-player mark in 2016, still remains very low-maintenance in 2019. Smoothly playable across the graphics card landscape of recent years, League of Legends also delights gamers with older hardware. However, one can't expect much in terms of graphics quality in such games.

As we clearly see here, GPU is mostly irrelevant when it comes to LoL, and anything as cheap as GTX 1050 is enough for 4K 120fps. RX 460 gives as many fps in QHD as GTX 1070Ti, which doesn't reach it limits even in 4K.

It's cool that you're making a LoL performance test, but a CPU test here would be a lot more suitable as it does basically all the work here.

And if you want to make a GPU test for such not demanding games, it would be cool if you went for 5K and 8K resolutions, where it wouldn't actually get bottlenecked.
