Title: MSI Summit E15 - A challenger for the Dell XPS 15 and the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme
Post by: Redaktion on February 03, 2021, 21:17:27
The Summit E15 is supposed to make life difficult for the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme and Dell XPS 15 top dogs. To do this, MSI uses the most current technology: Tiger Lake, Turing, USB 4.0, Thunderbolt 4, and PCI Express 4.

Yeah, if only they can make a better keyboard layout. It's just too awkward to use and they wasted space for some keys. Namely the ultrawide left Ctrl key (which is as wide as the left shift key) that they could have divided for a left Fn key, a second backslash key (for the US layout, ISO/European layouts did use for something else to fill the role of an another key) that forces the right Fn and Ctrl keys to become totally squashed, and the tilde/grave key is just way too narrow.

Sure doesn't challenge the display of the XPS 15 in any way with this pitiful and dim 16:9 relic.
