New Mac mini variants remain in development, with Apple M2 and Apple M2 Pro-based models reputedly in the pipeline. Neither will arrive before the start of next year though, with an upgraded Mac mini spoken of in the same breath as the Mac Pro and new variants of the MacBook Pro 14 and MacBook Pro 16.
