Seems like unnecessary roughness to relentlessly compare the Nord 200 5G to a much more expensive and rather unrelated phone. The Nord CE 5G price is 299 to 399 Euros, about US $362 to $483, that is 45% to 94% higher than the $249 price of the 200.
The 200 is probably aimed at Metro and Boost, both on the T-Mobile network. The price range for new Android phones on Boost today, not including out of stock models, is $30 to $200. So the Nord 200 is much better positioned to sell there than the expensive Nord CE.
It is not a 'weaker version' of anything.

I really hate that OP gives NA the weird and crappy products while they give the world more options on the high end products and low and midrange options that are actually worth buying.

OnePlus has announced another Nord smartphone, albeit only for North America. The Nord N200 5G is a cheaper option than the European and Indian-exclusive Nord CE 5G, and its specifications reflect that. The OnePlus Nord N200 5G will retail for US$249.
