Dell's affordable Inspiron 5000 family has been redesigned to finally include USB Type-C and faster graphics from the older R5 M335 and R7 M445 to the newer Radeon 530.

oh BOY a 5th refresh of the same chips. Correct me if im terribly wrong, but they've used the same die for that GPU since the HD 8700M series (1040mn transistors, 77mm^2). Not that there's anything immediately wrong the original GCN chips, just stop rebranding them AMD.

Not liking some of those display options. Especially the low 1366x768 res in 15.6", low 1600x900 res in 17.3". and what seems to be 1920x1080 but still low-quality-TN type for the 15.6" 1920x1080 anti-glare.

Makes making laptop recommendations more difficult because I have to keep explaining why I think it's important to avoid poor displays, instead of being able to focus only on more user-specific needs.
