Since consoles can't keep up with the hardware developments, the future of gaming might involve streaming setups. Google already provides the best broadband infrastructure in the U.S., plus the company just finished the beta tests for its "Project Stream," and it also hired a few well-known gaming industry names, so all the signs are there.
