Windows on ARM has been around for years. But it hasn't managed to break through into the mainstream yet due to the lack of fast processors and poor software compatibility. Whilst the CPU issue still lingers, the software situation has been greatly improved with Windows 11, as the Asus ExpertBook B3 Detachable shows.

Curious that you folks ignore that ChromeOS on ARM has been a thing since 2012 with full compatibility for Android and Linux applications. Far more MediaTek Chromebooks sell than Windows on ARM, and now Qualcomm Chromebooks are available also. The Acer Spin 513 benchmarks about as well as an entry level Dell XPS 13. The next Google Pixelbooks will have ARM CPUs also. That platform deserves a lot more credit than the tech media gives it.
