Elon Musk is now on the record saying that Tesla will erase the strikes and restore access to the Full Self-Driving Beta software at some point. Those who have more than five strikes for whatever reason are now locked out of testing FSD Beta.

Yup, installed the update and my FSD was restored. Hooray!
