Vivo's division and subsidiaries in India have been subject to raids by the country's financial Enforcement Directorate. The governmental body has confiscated balances - some gold bars included - totalling about US$59 million from a vast array of accounts held by the company. The move is reportedly linked to alleged tax evasion related to all Vivo sales made in India thus far.
