Non upgrade-able ram shouldn't be a con in this context due to the fact that this laptop uses lpddr4x which doesn't exits in a sodimm format.
Can't wait for the Athlon 400U version. It will be a perfect cheap back-to-school machine for browsing, Office, Netflix, and light Photoshopping, all in a 1.2kg with slim body with 14" 1080p screen, 8GB RAM, 250GB SSD and 10 hours battery life. This kind of "Ultrabook" configuration wasn't possible in a sub-$500 even as early as 3 years ago.
