Vivo has launched the high-end X90 Pro+ smartphone in China. It features a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, a 64 MP periscope telephoto lens capable of 3.5x optical and 100x digital zoom, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, and a 4,700 mAh battery. Prices start at CNY 6500 (US$910) in China.

Is 6499 RMB "an exorbitant" price tag in general, or only in the context of a manufacturer not called Apple or Samsung?
