The Mi 9 Lite may be treated as the lesser of the Mi 9 series, but even it has now received Android 10 builds of MIUI 11. Not all handsets have, that is. On the contrary, some are remaining on Android 9.0 Pie for the time being, albeit on a higher version of MIUI 11.

I bought the Mi CC9 in China, but installe the update in the UAE. I do not know if I had an unlocked bootloader or TWRP installed.
Now, my phone is stuck on a black screen that says MI-Recovery 3.0 and gives me three options:
1. Reboot
2. Wipe data
3. Connect with MiAssistant .
I installed the app on my pc to try and access the device but the app doesn't register the phone.
Wiping data is not an option, can anyone suggest another option please?

Have you tried asking on the MIUI forums?
