Electronic Arts (EA) und DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga) haben den Starttermin für die achte Virtual Bundesliga-Saison (VBL) in FIFA 20 verkündet. Ausgewählt wurde der 1. November 2019 als Startpunkt für die 8. VBL. Wie im vergangenen Jahr sind VBL Open sowie VBL Club Championship die Qualifikation zu den VBL Playoffs und dem VBL Grand Final.
