Title: Motorola Moto G8 Power: A decent midrange smartphone that skimps on Wi-Fi connectivity
Post by: Redaktion on March 26, 2020, 00:16:59
When looking for a cheap smartphone with a large battery, the Motorola Moto G8 Power should come to mind. Motorola has got plenty right with the device, including equipping the device with surprisingly good cameras. Why did it feel the need to include such weak Wi-Fi connectivity, though?

Wi-Fi 4, 5 GHz should be fast enough for a mobile device. 200Mb/s with my internet connection using Wi-Fi n I don't know how that is considered slow. It's outdated of course.. does the phone have especially high latency or is it just an old Wi-Fi standard?

My main concern with the phone is durability of the front glass.
