Title: Samsung announces the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, a 10.4-inch tablet with a TFT display
Post by: Redaktion on April 15, 2020, 20:10:13
Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, and it is an absolute stinker. While the device may look modern with its thin bezels and slim form factor, the inclusion of a TFT panel means that you should give the Tab S6 Lite a miss. Seriously, why release a £339.00 (~US$425) tablet with a TFT panel in 2020?

Samsung's TFT means PLS-type TFT equivalent to IPS. Samsung doesn't use IPS branding because IPS is actually LG's trademark. It's not the old TN with that 'poor viewing angles' you moron. Research more before writing something like this.

I believe what you're thinking of is twisted nematic display. This display panel here is basically IPS

I have my Tab A 9.7 for 4 years, it uses TFT but the color accuracy is good, never felt a problem with viewing angles.

I prefer LCD to OLED. OLED has its pluses but the deep blue emissions hurts my eyes.
