Title: Gigabyte P35X v3 Notebook Review
Post by: Redaktion on November 14, 2014, 06:13:44
Portable gaming behemoth. While ultra-slim, high-end laptops were still rare in 2013, there are now quite a few slim gaming machines. Gigabyte introduces an extremely high-performance model based on the GeForce 980M dubbed P35X v3.

How negatively would these temperatures affect the lifespan of the hardware?

These temperatures are high, but not necessarily "out-of-spec" for the respective components. Furthermore, since the max temperatures reported here will not be reached during gaming or most real-world scenarios, it will be rare to see temps get that high during consumer use.

The issue would mostly just be discomfort and/or noise levels during heavy workloads or gaming, not anything damaging to the notebook :)

The speakers are more than poor, they are a Joke.

Just hope that you don't have to send it in under warranty. You will have to pay to send it in.

The motherboard in my laptop started going bad in less than a month.

I sent it in, and they replaced my motherboard with a motherboard that looked like it had been repaired by an amateur.

They stole one of my memory sticks, and are refusing to send it to me.

They are claiming that if a person installs a stick of memory that they void the warranty.

Trying to talk to them is like talking to a bunch of idiots.

Thanks for your comment. It made me decide not to purchase that system. Some manufacturers do forget that 1 negative comment usually influences more than 10 positive ones.
