According to a report in The Elec, Samsung is planning on launching a raft of MiniLED 8K TVs in 2022, using its "Neo QLED" technology. Samsung's 2022 flagship lineup will also feature new 4K OLED TVs, including some with panels sourced from LG.

I would only settle for MiniLED if it's dirt cheap, which it won't be initially at 8K resolution. MicroLED is the future.
