Post by: Redaktion on August 17, 2022, 23:59:55
Creoqode has confirmed that the Lyra+ will not be shipping, owing to increased production costs. Worse still, the company has cancelled the entire project, dashing hopes of a gaming handled based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 (CM4) ever materialising.

Almost any other handheld with a different chip would be a better option than an expensive Pi4-based option. The Ayn Odin immediately came to mind, but if you have to price it next to the Steam Deck, that's just a disaster. The Pi4's Broadcom GPU is weird and weak.
