Title: Bendgate 3.0: The iPad Pro is still as soft as butter
Post by: Redaktion on March 27, 2020, 12:59:41
The new iPad Pro may not only feature essentially the same SoC as its predecessor, but it is just as fragile too. It seems that while Apple has been able to add improved camera hardware, it forgot to improve structural integrity. Bendgate 3.0 anyone?

...no, I'm probably skipping this. I thought the added weight would do something, turns out that's not the case. The lack of a second C port or a headphone jack on the keyboard already had me on the fence, this is unacceptable.

Ya'll know Apple - form over function - first, last, and always.

iPP up until 2017 was very sturdy, in fact the ancient 1st gen iPad was built like a tank, entirely rigid and to heavy to hold for extended periods in fact.
