HP has upgraded its Envy 17 offering with Intel Tiger Lake and NVIDIA GeForce MX450 options. The 2021 HP Envy 17 also offers a 19% larger touchpad and is lighter than the previous generation weighing at 2.5 kg. So if you can get virtually identical 'guts' in a 14" Zenbook weighing half as much, what is causing the extra 3 inches to weigh 2.5 kg?   Come on HP.   LG gram 17 weighs half as much (more or less) as well, and all they are missing is the 100 gm MX card.

While this is an excellent laptop, sliver on silver just looks too cheap for me. Pass.

Why put an MX gpu on the 17 inch version and an RTX gpu on the 15 inch? So you're getting a larger screen but completely lower specs?
