SiSoftware recently published a performance review of the upcoming Intel Raptor Lake Core i9-13900, based on aggregated results in its database. The Raptor Lake i9-13900 engineering sample handed in 50 percent better performance in ALU workloads, despite running at a low 3.7 GHz.https://www.notebookcheck.net/Raptor-Lake-Core-i9-13900-performance-preview-outed-by-SiSoftware-engineering-sample-thrashes-Alder-Lake-and-Zen-3-despite-3-7-GHz-clockspeed.628478.0.html
This would be correct, if Intel's cpu had been compared to 5950, and not with the 5900.
This is not the 13900k it is the "S" variant so expect to see a much higher boost and much higher performance in general when the 13900k arrives. This is a good showing so far, can't wait to see how it runs at release.
