Embattled smartphone makers Huawei has now removed the Mate 20 series from its security update schedule, in a move that mirrors what happened with the Mate 10 series a year ago. The phones include the Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 RS, and Mate 20 X.

And these cheap Chinese devices were the same price as the iPhone but with much less quality, performance and software.
I'm just laughing at the clowns that purchase these cheapos and p*** on Apple for the same price or more.

I dont like Apple, but if you are paying +900$ for a Chinese device, you are a fool. At that point, you are better off getting an iPhone and getting 5 years of updates at least. If you end up not liking it, you can sell it and recover most of your money, too.
When customers are no longer treated with consideration, it becomes evident Huawei is no longer able to cope with providing even basic services for their so-called flagships. It has clearly given up its shortlived quest to be a global player. To be on the safe side, one should as a rule, shun all Chinese products.
I as a dedicated user of Huawei is deeply disappointed with this move to exclude the 20 range of phones. It seems as if we are now forced to upgrade from a fully functional and reliable product to a newer model. Is this a way to boost sales? Rather keep your loyal customers happy or you run the risk of loosing them. 😣
They are not cheap and cheerful devices. They are actually really well made devices with excellent materials, display, choosey etc.
What annoys me is they are devices that still have Google Play services and they should still update those devices for another year at the minimum.
Android... Two years of the updates that's pathetic
This is my last phone from Huawei. I have a Huawei Mate 20 Pro... it was certainly not cheap. Never trust the Chinese phone maker anymore.
I absolutely love the mate 20x best phone in my opinion so it saddens me to see this not like its a hardware problem has amazing specs just the lack of community for this lovely phone.
What about the mate 20 x 5G??
Its just one major upgrade android from 9 to 10 this untrusted company
Not serios to bad this Phone Its very good device but update software Its junk
Haven't received a single security update since September in Australia. Very disappointing. Otherwise best phone I have ever owned (mate20 pro)
I have not received any updates in 2 years!!! I live in the United States. This phone has become a work phone for me.This was the best phone I ever had what waste! I will never but from this company again.
I think with the company being blocked from using any Google services are now having to go through other channels to give the same service as what Google previously did, because of the American government and British government boycotting the Chinese company has forced there hand to move on so with the 20 series still using Google services which future phones don't have access to means for the company to move on to better things. I'm a mate 20 pro user I love this phone as I did with my previous phone the p10 lite so I will still be using this phone until I upgrade to either the mate 40 pro or p40 Pro. Please bare everything that I have said in mind hopefully there will be answers from the company it's self in due course

Yeah but the iPhones didn't have anywhere near the same level of tech as the time of launch, show me an iPhone produced the same time with an in display fingerprint reade or same quality camera, etc.
Agreed its a shame they have dropped support for the product as its a good phone and still going strong.

What a know-nothing moron. Apple make junk for brain dead retards, like you. Horrible Tech, pathetic software, laughable specs for mentally incapable gutter trash, like you. iPhones, for losers who are too stupid to use Android devices (again, like you). We know you're butthurt about being so dumb you're forced to use ios, just keep it to yourself, dumb little pillow bitter.
I really do get tired of Huawei battering about cheap Chinese tech. Huawei do let themselves down with their aftercare but the phone and watch I purchased from them was excellent.
I have to admit that I was a Apple moron, who just hit the feeder bar with every model till I purchased the iPhone 10, which was the most disappointing phone and unfulfilling product I have purchased with what I can only say was a eye watering price.
Huawei blew the iPhone out of the water with its price, build quality and ability to personalise your phone to your needs.
I would also add to you Apple users who dismiss Huawei, most of the internals of your iPhone is made in China.
Would I buy another Huawei, not at the moment but that reason is only down to the lack of Google services. If Huawei resolved their issues with the American government, I think you may see the Huawei phones occupying near top positions in most of the top ten smartphone lists.
My next smartphone, not a clue, previous work Samsung's I have owned, have had abysmal build quality, one model being replaced three times. The iPhones bore me after the Huawei, so fingers crossed the Huawei, upgrade customer care no resolve the Google services issue.
I've had a Huawei P10 Pro since 2017...no issues at all. Updated regularly and battery still super charging fast to full and lasts a long long long time. Absolutely fantastic peice of kit one I will never move away from pure brilliance and anyone hesitant...don't listen to the comments and try it for yourself. You forget about the phone and it just becomes a convenience when you need it, I have lots of friends with apple Samsung etc etc and always find it entertaining when they go on about issues!
