Title: Aorus 15P WB in review: Compact gaming powerhouse offers very good battery life
Post by: Redaktion on January 05, 2021, 05:56:37
The Aorus 15P WB brings all modern computer games smoothly onto the screen (Full HD, IPS, 144 Hz). In addition, there's an NVMe SSD, 16 GB of RAM (dual-channel mode), and battery runtimes that many office laptops can't reach.

So, finally, you can play Witcher III with >60 fps at 1080p ultra. But it's a 6-year-old game.. Let's wait until laptops can run AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk at >60 fps...

At least finally a device, which manages to provide great gaming performance @ 43-45 db, which is the perfect sweet spot in terms of moderate fan noise and (cooling) performance. Very well done, Gigabyte!

Almost all competitors are annoyingly noisy with around 50 db or even more, which forces you to wear headphones.

Don't like the plastic design with wannabe aggressive sharp edges though  :D Do the Aero notebooks use the same cooling system or are they thinner/louder?

Keeping the laptop cool, conected to protected outlets and only using it for 3D CAD, last 1 year before the mobo fries itself. RIP
