Both the feisty Fiesta Red and Mercury Gray color options are now much cheaper than what they were when they launched a year ago. The model comes with a 10th gen Core i5-10210U CPU, metal chassis, and 4K touchscreen to be better equipped than most other Chromebooks.

Not seeing this deal. the $599 is only tradein. ???
Yeah, you only get that $599 price with a trade in. Without trade in, they only bump $100 off the regular price. $899 is still too high IMO.
Agreed.... Still too high Samsung. #Fail
Damn, either the author made an error here, or that's some serious clickbait -- the $599 price is only with an eligible trade-in, and that offer has been available for weeks if not months.
I'm sorry but was very disappointed as it was clickbait. And the Samsung site is pulling the ole show a low price then let it climb.
The price isn't $599. It's $899, and if you have an old Samsung product that you don't mind parting with, you can get a rebate off the $899 price.
I assume there are car dealerships that offer a $40,000 car for $20,000, just bring your $20,000 trade-in with you to get that amazing price!
And I was ready to buy today.
My bad for being sucked.
Agreed. BS click-bait. I'd have bought 2
seems like all the good "deals" that Samsung offers have the (trade-in) stipulation...which is unfortunate. any other offers is tied with a carrier requirement to open a new line in order to get similar discounts.
they bait you with a descent sales pricing, and then only offer the discount with an "eligible" device trade-in. which is contingent on basically only the expensive models. I've left the site feeling sour a dozen times this past month.
