Title: Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra shoots for the moon and succeeds thanks to its 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor

A Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has produced an incredible shot of the moon in part thanks to the presence of its powerful 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL GN2 image sensor. The SuperMoon mode found in Xiaomi's MIUI 12 skin also assisted in taking the impressive photograph of the Earth's only natural satellite.

A lot of strange artifacts/banding, but the result seems legit.

Missed my chances with the very recent Super moon.  My cheap  Redmi Note 10 Pro "only" has a 104 megapixel camera. If  I dared use the open source software, Open Camera, it is much more flexible than any OEM software. Perhaps next Super Moon?  There'll be time. Now living in this hospice for the last 15 years. Should be in Chinese Heaven then, instead of this Australia, where grand mother was born, 140 years ago.
